Mackenzie Gordon is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist who provides personalized, evidence-based nutrition counseling to help individuals improve their health and feel their best.
She works with a wide range of nutrition concerns, including food allergies, celiac disease, weight management, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and triglycerides, eating disorders, and sports nutrition. Whether managing a medical condition or building healthier habits,
Mackenzie takes a practical, individualized approach tailored to each client’s goals. Mackenzie has a strong interest in supporting athletes, helping them optimize performance and recovery through strategic fueling. She also has experience guiding individuals recovering from disordered eating, promoting a balanced, sustainable, and compassionate approach to nourishment.
Mackenzie serves as the on-campus dietitian at Fairfield University and as a professor in the clinical nutrition program, where she helps students apply nutrition concepts in real-world settings, while also practicing at NutriGreene. She also brings clinical experience from Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital in Boston, including work in cardiac rehabilitation.
Mackenzie is passionate about helping clients build a positive, balanced relationship with food. She emphasizes sustainable lifestyle changes—not quick fixes—using real, whole foods as the foundation for long-term health. Her approach focuses on simple, approachable strategies that empower clients to feel confident in the kitchen and in their everyday choices.
