Shamlee is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Dietitian Nutritionist in the State of Connecticut. She has several years of experience in clinical nutrition, having worked in critical care setting in hospitals, long term care facilities. She is presently working in a dialysis center providing medical nutrition therapy for chronic kidney disease patients.
She has special interest in nutritional management of kidney disease, and metabolic issues pertaining specially to diabetes and weight management. Shamlee has formal educational background in Nutritional Sciences, Food Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences, which has shaped her solid understanding of both food and medications aspects of health management.  She is committed to client centered care and is motivated to help her clients with creating plans that will result in sustainable health
changes.
